March Madness gets underway this week and on Sunday we found out when Florida’s college basketball teams that made it into the NCAA men’s tournament will play.
Stetson University’s men’s basketball team clinched its first-ever spot in the NCAA bracket last week. The Hatters drew the UConn Huskies for their opponent in the first round. The two teams will play at the Barclays Center in New York on Friday, March 22.

UConn, which is the overall No. 1 seed team in the tournament is also the defending champion. Stetson is the No. 16 seed.
Florida Atlantic University will face Northwestern in the first round. They will also play at the Barclays Center in New York on Friday, March 22. The FAU Owls made it to the Final Four last year.
The University of Florida is the third Florida team to make it to the tournament, but it’s not known yet who the Gators will play. The team will play the winner of Boise State/Colorado in Indianapolis on Friday, March 22.
