@JohnHemming4mp: The Media act as an Equaliser to Bring the Powerful to Account #secrecy #familycourts #gagging

16 04 18 Hemming ITVFormer Lib Dem MP John Hemming has played a critical role during his term in Parliament with respect to Children’s Rights.

By way of example:

  1. he used Parliamentary Privilege to name the mother Vicky Haigh and Doncaster Council:
    • the little girl accused her father of abusing her, but ‘the system’ imprisoned her mother and handed custody to the alleged abuser without any contact with her family until she is 18;
  2. he contributed to many media episodes as the child-snatching issue began to be addressed by mainstream media:
  3. together with Austin Mitchell MP, he sponsored the launch of our Association of McKenzie Friends.

On 18 April 2016, he spoke about Celebrity Injunctions and mentioned the Zimbabwe case as an example, without naming either the mother or her teenager son:

  1. Who can compel the Media to tackle “the Powerful {outlaws}” with their unconstitutional behaviour? Is it within their remit? How will they be paid? How will Parliament react? I agree the Media is probably our only hope as far as exposing but, we need a Fairer System at ONCE and it can only come with Family Law Reform whereby Judges, SW’s, OS, CAFCASS, LA’s, ISW’s and NHS Staff will be demoted or fined or imprisoned for LYING and mis-conduct.
