@Europarl_en April 27: Plenary Debate on Children’s Rights #EPlenary

This overview was given by the MEP who has watched petitions come and grow since 2014. Her first case that she mentions was on the Committee’s agenda when I was making my presentation to Abolish Adoptions without Parental Consent, accompanied by 30 parents.

Although the video is professional broadcast quality, the lighting and setting did not allow us to do better. But at least we tried!

 

If you sign our petition to Abolish Adoptions without Parental Consent, you will get updates. Since EU documents used the title Protect the best interest of the child (across borders), we used it, too.

The Plenary Debate will start on Wednesday aròund 7 or 8 pm & will last more or less one hour.

The EU Commission & the EU Council will answer the questions we addressed to them followed by a debate:

On Thursday the Draft Motion for a Resolution that the Petitions Committee prepared, will be put to a single vote without any other presentation:
